Police Hunt Suspect In Clifton Pharmacy Robbery

CLIFTON, N.J. -- A Clifton pharmacy was robbed at knifepoint early Sunday morning, and police are searching for the man who did it, Nj.com reported.

Clifton Police Sgt. Robert Bracken released a statement that the suspect came into a Rite Aid on Lexington Avenue at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday wearing something covering his face. He threatened a cashier, demanding money, and made off with an unknown amount, the article said.

Police say he fled on foot, but they were unable to locate him and don’t know which way he went, according to Nj.com. No one was hurt.
